Apple updates iWork for iPad

Twitter on Thursday unveiled its “tweet” button, which will let users share links on Twitter directly from the Web site they are visiting. Now, tweeting your favorite stories may be getting a little easier.
About one-quarter of all tweets include a link, but sharing those links can sometimes be complex, Twitter spokeswoman Carolyn Penner added in a blog post.
“Copying and pasting, link shortening and bouncing between browser tabs just to share a link in a Tweet is too much work,” Penner wrote.
To simplify the process, Web site owners can now add a few lines of code to their pages for quick tweeting. When a user clicks on the “tweet” button, a pop-up box will appear. The Web site URL will already be shortened, so all a user has to do is add a message and click “tweet.” It will be sent to a user’s Twitter feed automatically, and that user can continue browsing.
Twitter has also incorporated its follow suggestion feature into the tweet button. After a user sends off a tweet, Twitter will suggest a few people it thinks you might want to follow. Select those people or just click out of the box.
Twitter said the tweet button can be added to sites of all sizes – from recreational bloggers to major media organizations. More than 30 sites will start offers the tweet button on Thursday, including CNN.com, Hulu, Gawker Media, The Onion, and USA Today.

BlackBerry owners don’t know maker of their handset…

A very strange thing come out from the recently survey is that half of the BlackBerry owners don’t know who Research In Motion is. Survey says that 40 percent of owners were clueless about their mother company.
Research In Motion, founded by the Mike Lazaridis is a Canadian telecommunication and wireless device company behind the BlackBerry brand. It is best known as the developer of the BlackBerry smart phone.
Neil McHugh who is the co-founder of rightmobilephone.co.uk added on a web that it is really very shocking that more than a third of BlackBerry users failed to recognize RIM as the maker of their handset.
He continued that people knows Apple, Nokia and Samsung but don’t know RIM. Its time RIM branched out to a wider audience.
The 1,024 BlackBerry owners were also polled about the upcoming BlackBerry Torch handset – RIM’s latest smartphone and iPhone 4 rivals.
Nearly 70% agreed it would fail to topple Apple’s dominance with the majority (83%) claiming Apple’s handset had better apps.
It is said by the 74% that they disliked touchscreen phones and with two-thirds citing the QWERTY keypad as the major reason they brought a BlackBerry.
Mr McHugh added: “Whilst many think it won’t be as popular as the iPhone 4, I’m pretty sure RIM did not intend their new handset to compete with Apple as its not offers very exciting and attractive features.
“The two manufacturers have a very different target audience and, whilst the BlackBerry appeals to professionals and business types with its seamless e-mail, the iPhone can be enjoyed more by a wider audience thanks to the range of fun apps and features.”

Software announced for attacking Android phones..

As I read on a web site that two security experts released a tool for attacking smart phones that use Google Inc’s Android operating system to persuade manufactures to fix a bug that lets hackers read a victim’s email and text messages.
Nicholas Percoco, head of Spider Labs added on web blog that it took about two weeks to build the malicious software that could allow criminals to steal precious information from Android smart phones. He continued that there are people who are much more motivated to do these things than we are. The tool is a so-called root kit that, once installed, allows its developer to gain total control of Android devices, which are being activated by consumers at a rate of about 160,000 units per day, according to Google. We could be doing what we want to do and there is no clue that we are there,” Percoco said.
The test attacks were conducted on HTC Corp’s Android-based Legend and Desire phones, but he believed it could be conducted on other Android phones.
The tool was released on a DVD given to conference attendees. Percoco was scheduled to discuss it during a talk on Saturday.
Google and HTC did not immediately return calls for comment. Some 10,000 hackers and security experts are attending the Defcon conference in limo hire, the world’s largest gathering of its type, where computer geeks mix with federal security officials.

German warning over Apple security..

German government agency issues an official security warning for number of versions of Apple’s iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch. There are two critical weak points are noticed in Apple’s iOS operating system. It is said by the Federal office for Information security that opening a manipulated web site or PDF file could allow criminals to spy on passwords, planners and emails.
It said although no attacks have been observed yet they must be expected. Users should avoid opening PDF files, and never go to websites they do not trust, it added.
The warning relates to iPhones using iOS versions 3.1.2-4.0.1, iPads using iOS 3.2-3.2.1 and iPod Touches using iOS 3.1.2.-4.0.

Google Multiple Sign-in, Now Available

Google offers latest option “multiple sign-in” to their users. This feature allows users to signing in to multiple Google accounts simultaneously from the same browser. In Google accounts page, this new option is available but if you don’t see the new feature, it will probably be enabled soon. It is an advanced feature by Google and it will only work for G-mail, Google Calendar, Google Sites, Google Reader, Google Voice, App Engine and Google Code. When multiple sign-in is enabled, a drop-down is displayed next to your email address at the top of the page, so you can quickly switch to a new account.
If you use multiple sigh-in, the first account you sign in to will be your default account. If you visit other Google products that don’t support multiple accounts after you’ve signed in, you will automatically sign in to your default account for that product. If you sign out of any Google product while signed in to any account, you will be signed out of all your Google Accounts at once.

Next week a new blackberry product is coming to AT&T stores. It is the perfect addition of the touch screen and device’s signature full-alphabet keyboard. This touch screen Blackberry will cost $199 according to the RIM. The keyboard in this phone slides out from underneath the screen.

It’s a great launch that offers great features that RIM’ first touch-screen model lacked. It’s hoped that user must like this touch screen as me and my limo team also get impressed with its attractive display and excellent key features.

It comes with updated BlackBerry operating system that embedded outstanding quality feature. These features are already found on competing phones.

YouTube plans to make a movie…

It’s recently announced by the YouTube, owned by Mountain View, Calif.-based Google Inc that it is going to make a movie. The film making plan is made by the director Kevin Macdonald, producer Ridley Scott and a few hundred other filmmakers.

It is planning to create a project that organise the creation of Life In a Day. It shows the daily lives for ordinary people with user-submitted videos from around the world.

The director of the movie would be Macdonald, who directed the Last King Of Scotland and State Of Play. He will edit a feature-length documentary from the submitted material. Scott, who directed the films including Gladiator and Robin Hood, will be the producer.

Macdonald wrote on a web that this user generated film may offers other possibilities but of course it also contains risk. He also believed that there will be some real gems, some real magic, which is what I’m looking for.

According to the reports, the film will premiere at the Sundance Film Festival in January. It will simultaneously be streamed on YouTube for free. Those whose footage makes it into the film will be credited as co-directors, and 20 of them will be flown to Sundance for the premiere.

Huge changes have been seen in the content that is created and consumed by the YouTube. Sara Pollack, who is a YouTube’s film and animation manager, added after his limo trip that these programs are different from that empowering regular people who have visions, who have voices, who have opinions, who have talent.

Macdonald said that he is particularly inspired by the 1930/40s British documentary film-maker Humphrey Jennings. He continued that this film is not a mainstream film, it’s an experimental film. It’s a great way as everybody can’t write a great novel and everybody can’t paint a great picture. But in this instance, people can contribute to what I hope is going to be a great film by giving something of themselves.

NEW hybrid system prepared by Nissan

A new hybrid system has been prepared by the Nissan and it is also expected that sales will start later this year. Nissan Motor Company was founded by the Jidosha Seizo Co. LTD in the year 1993.

Engineers of the motor company added that green offers for conventional cars are being considered because vehicles with petrol engines still make up the bulk of Nissan’s models.

The Infiniti M35 Hybrid is the major attraction of the presentation at the company’s global headquarters.

The Infiniti M35 Hybrid would be Nissan’s first mass-produced petrol-electric hybrid.

Yokohama-based Nissan, allied with Renault SA of France, declined to disclose the mileage for the hybrid but said it would be comparable to a compact, which would translate to around double the mileage for a Sedan.

Nissan promised the price would be reasonable, saying the two-clutch hybrid system was relatively cheaper and simpler compared to rival hybrids, partly because it requires only one motor instead of two as in Toyota Motor Corporation’s hybrid system.
